From the artist: “The model is native Hawaiian, wearing a textile of local plants design. She sits in trust amidst falling flower petals and mangos that fall right into her hand. Written on the side is the promise in 1 Peter 5:10, that God ‘will establish you, strengthen, and settle you.’ Spirograph patterns float in background as a nod to both the childhood art toy used directly on this piece, and playful atom-like building elements of life.”
