| Jim Powlan
Each of Jim’s limited edition, one-of-a-kind works begins as a polished copper plate, acid-etched for 24 hours, then hand-inked to print on silk and embellished with gold or silver leaf.
Jim says, “Blending the traditional European intaglio style of etching and inks with Asian silk and its sense of feel, my hope is that all my images will create peacefulness and serenity in the viewer by giving them a feeling of something old yet new. Being Eurasian myself, East-meets-West is part of who I am.”

Jackie Johnston
Self-professed geeky web developer Jackie spent most of her life thinking she wasn’t able to draw or paint, but her latest work, “Fly Like An Eagle,” being included in the Hui No'eau’s 2023 Annual Juried Exhibition definitely proves otherwise. Using her own photographs for inspiration, it’s her love of animals and the ocean that inspires her choice of subject matter.
Artist Special: Take 10% off Jackie’s original artworks and limited edition prints through Feb. 28, 2023!

Kolton Kallas
Originally from Southern California, Kolton moved to Maui in 2010 with his wife and son and has spent his time here learning and experimenting with exotic hardwoods like koa and mango. Taking inspiration from the abounding beauty that is Hawai'i, the goal of his wood and resin surfboard artwork is to echo the land and sea, with each piece holding its own story of the islands in the grain of the wood it was carved from.

Marian Fieldson
Master fused glass artist Marian takes the patterns for her kiln casts from the lava flows in Puna on the Big Island. The natural braided ripples of lava show very well in glass, transparency and opacity playing against the light, and both the front and the back of each piece show different interactions. There are endless combinations of color and shape, each one a combination of sculpture and painting in glass.

Curt Stevens
Part of the recent Hawai'i Craftsmen Annual Statewide Exhibition, Curt’s ceramic and porcelain creations range from functional items to one-of-a-kind collectors’ pieces. His process involves hand-building slabs as well as wheel-throwing with firing techniques of raku to high-fire. His glazing is a continuing process of experimentation resulting in unique colors and designs. Some of Curt’s porcelain pieces employ the Italian art of sgraffito, where he applies layers of color to leather-hard pottery and then scratches off parts of the layer(s) to create contrasting images and patterns.
